| While the Iranian people are fighting with the Islamic Republic of Iran's fascist armed forces and trying to establish a secular democratic system in Iran, UCI and its Center for Persian Studies and Culture are continuously supporting this criminal system in Iran by giving their representatives a stage for expressing their worthless political views and gibberish. Why? Center for Persian Studies and Culture at UCI always uses spurious and bogus titles for its events in order to hide their real motives (i.e., giving a forum to Islamic Iran's representatives). Why? A few months ago, the Center for Persian Studies and Culture at UCI, under a so-called "translation conference" invited Marandi (Ahmadinejad's spoke person) to UCI and gave this criminal a stage to express their anti US (and Anti Bush) worthless views. Here we go again, Now, in another event (date & time: 1/15/2010 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM), the same organization at UCI (Center for Persian Studies and Culture) has invited a fanatic Moslem clergyman to another dog and pony panel discussion on "Muslim Feminism and Democracy Movement in Iran". Obviously, these days at UCI, you don't have to have any relevant credentials to discuss a particular topic as long as you are supporting the Islamic Republic of Iran! I don't know how a fanatic Moslem clergyman with extensive record on human right violations can contribute to a discussion on Feminism and Democracy. When you look at the participating panelists, none of them have any qualification or expertise to discuss the subject matter. So, what is the real reason that UCI continuously invites Islamic Iran's representatives to its campus and gives these cast of characters the opportunity to disseminate their Islamic political ideologies? What is the reason that this center (Center for Persian Studies and Culture) NEVER invites secular, independent Iranians who are openly against the Islamic Republic of Iran? Why? Don't you think that the Islamic Iran with its billions of dollars of oil revenue has enough power and capability to disseminate their worthless religious political messages? Don't you think it would be much better if UCI and similar institutions would help and support the "Independent Secular Iranians who are OPENLY against this fascist system" by giving them a stage to disseminate their democratic secular views? And support the Iranian people's struggle against this fascist system. Please look at the topic and look at the credential of the panelists (enclosed). And then we wonder why our students are so clueless on the international affairs and why we never have a serious, worthwhile, and valuable discussion at UCI! This is amazing. I can NOT believe how UCI would allow these types of activities to go on in its campus under the name of "Center for Persian Studies and Culture." In reality, this is a Center for Promotion of Islamic Ideologies and Politics & NOT a Center for Persian Studies. How can you relate these garbage individuals to "Persian Studies?" I really wished that UCI would had the dignity to openly admit that is trying to promote Islamo Fascism in Irvine and in the USA, than using the title of Center for Persian Studies and Culture to promote Islamic Republic of Iran and its disgusting political objectives. Please send your concerns to UCI, Irvine City Hall, Orange County Media, your OC Congress Representatives, Irvine Police, etc. Our Tax money should NOT be spent on these types of activities. Panelist Bios: Hasan Yousefi Eshkevari, a well known Mullah, who has followed Khomeini and who has participate in all the atrocities that the Islamic system has done in Iran and to Iranians. Please note, anytime the Islamic System of Iran wants to promote someone to a title of an "Intellectual", they keep the guy in jail for a while (house arrest) and then after a while, the guy suddenly shows up in Europe or in the USA without any explanation. And then the individual uses his so-called jailed time as his ONLY credential to gain respect and credibility among Americans, Europeans, and Iranians in the West. Eshkevari, who does not have any college or even a high school diploma, is a well trained Mullah and he is trying to promote a so called "Modern version of Islam or a gentler Islam" among Iranians in the West. They know that the Islamic System of Iran is falling apart and they are thinking about a potential solution. A solution that is still based on Islam. As if, we Iranian are condemned, for ever, to have an Islamic system as a form of government. Nayereh Tohidi, a well known Iranian communist who is trying to become a "moderate Moslem" in recent years and also willing to change to any other color or faith as needed. She has been supporting the Islamic Republic of Iran openly. Along with her Communist husband, they have always campaigned for the Islamic Republic of Iran dog and phony elections. They manage and run all the Islamic System's voting booths in LA area (during the Islamic Iran elections). They work very hard to invite all the Iranians in the West to vote for this fascist system. They have been inviting various members of Islamic system and their supporters to meetings and conferences at UCLA, CSUN, etc., giving these people a university forum to promote their ideologies and their political objectives. She has supported the Islamic Republic of Iran from its inception with her leftist activities.. She used to be an active Marxists & Leninists until about 10 years ago. Since then she (and her husband) have become more and more directly involved with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Islamic Republic of Iran's representatives in the US provides her with various grants for her university activities and in return she provides a forum for these people to promote their missions. Nasrin Rahimieh, a well known supporter of Islamic Republic of Iran, who has NEVER written a single word against the Islamic Republic of Iran or done anything about all the continuous human rights violations in Iran (or even on women's rights). Why? She travels freely to Iran and never expresses her opinion about the Islamic criminal system that is ruling Iran for over 30 years. However, she is always ready and willing to defend the Islamic system and support their causes. Her biggest achievement in life (as an scholar) is a single book that she has supposedly translated to English. But in reality, the well-known author's wife has done the real translation work and Nasrin is simply collecting the credit. She wants to show herself as the middle of the road person, while in reality, she is supporting the Islamic System of Iran. Google her name and see if you can find any worthwhile political articles by her, addressing the criminal activities of the Islamic republic of Iran or any worthwhile article addressing the horrific conditions of Iran women and / or Iranian minorities. Touraj Daryaee, who is a well known supporter of Islamic Republic of Iran in LA and in the OC area. He has NEVER written anything against the fascist Islamic system. He always has time to write against the USA or conduct conferences at UCI, UCLA, CSU Fullerton, etc., to show the United States criminal activities, crime against humanity, etc. BUT he has NEVER written a single line against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Why? He travels freely to Iran without any issues and conducts business in the Islamic Iran. As we all know, you can NOT conduct any business in Iran if you are not directly affiliated with the Islamic system or if they have not been OKed by them. If you ask Touraj anything about the Islamic Republic of Iran, he will tell you that he is only concentrating on the pre-Islamic era of Iran and he is not a political person. However, if you want to do some serious USA or Israel bashing, he has plenty opinions and very much politically active. He is a true chameleon. I have no idea how such a cast of characters have been selected to discuss a topic such as "Muslim Feminism and Democracy Movement in Iran"?! |
